Fox Lane High School Senior Joanna Green Delgado, percussion student and flutist in the Conservatory’s Jazz Ensemble, was accepted to Crane School of Music, where she will start as a music education major this fall.
“As a musician, I feel like becoming a music teacher could make a difference in a lot of people’s lives.”
Joanna sees the positive impact of music training first hand as a scholarship student studying with Bill Ruyle since 2017.
“I truly believe that these experiences [at the Conservatory] have expanded my musical abilities and that what I’ve learned will be applicable to my college experience.”
