Our talented Suzuki students will perform in a special virtual concert on Saturday, May 30 starting at 1pm. In solo performances, Suzuki students will play pieces on cello, piano, violin, and viola in video recordings from their homes.
The virtual concert will premiere in 3 parts on Facebook and YouTube. Each forty-five minute-long part will include different performances by Suzuki students. Links to watch will be available at www.musicconservatory.org/community.
The Suzuki philosophy is famous for its belief that “Every Child Can.” At the Music Conservatory of Westchester, our Suzuki teachers are committed to the understanding that students should be met “where they are,” then instructed in a way that allows them to grow musically and as naturally as possible.
Suzuki students at the Conservatory take private lessons and group classes. The group class reinforces what is learned in the private lesson, builds ensemble skills, and creates a nurturing musical community that motivates the student to practice at home.
Enjoy the concert!
