Clarinetist Jarrett Hoffman is an active teacher and freelancer in Westchester, New
York City, and the Hudson Valley. He is a faculty member of the Music
Conservatory of Westchester, has previously taught at the Cortlandt School of
Performing Arts, is a frequent performer with the West Point Band and The
Orchestra Now, and has appeared at venues such as Carnegie Hall, the
Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Jazz At Lincoln Center.
Jarrett holds the positions of principal clarinet with Hudson Opera Theater and
second clarinet with Taconic Opera, and is also a regular freelance performer on
bass clarinet and E-flat clarinet. He has performed with the Hudson Valley
Symphony Orchestra, Bronx Opera, Georgia Symphony, and myriad other
ensembles, been featured on the Noontime at Emanuel series as part of the
Hoffman Duo, and appeared at festivals such as Round Top Festival Institute, the
Banff Centre, and Atlantic Music Festival.
