MCW is proud to offer Westchester County’s first certificate program in Music Production and Recording.
Students receive hands-on training in our state-of-the-art Recording Studio and Digital Piano Lab. Get a jump start on 21st-century careers!
Certificate Courses for High school Students and Adults
- Digital Music Production: Unleash your creativity and become a digital music production wizard with this hands-on course covering everything from software platforms, and mixing techniques, along with music theory, and composition.
- Recording Studio Production: Learn the art of recording studio production from the ground up, and gain practical experience working with instruments, equipment, and digital audio workstations.
- Applied Production: Develop your songwriting and music production skills through real-time exercises and learn to create professional quality music.
- Studio Recording Project: Sharpen your recording engineering and music production skills while taking an individual song project from start to fully mixed, mastered, and ready for release.
Classes are open to high school students and adults. Students who successfully complete all four courses in sequence will earn a certificate. Classes may also be taken individually, based on prior experience and skill level.
