Celebrating Our Past, Composing Our Future

Legacy Project

Building the Future Today

Our Legacy Project is underway, thanks to our many generous donors!

We’re transforming 3,500 square feet of unfinished space into five dynamic and innovative learning spaces for the next generation of music students:

  • Digital Piano Lab
  • Professional audio/video Recording Studio
  • Upgraded Percussion Studio
  • Multi-purpose Rehearsal Studio
  • Additional Music Therapy Studio
This project bridges traditional music education with 21st-century technology-based innovation. MCW will become the very first in Westchester County to provide pre-college training in Recording Engineering and Music Production, preparing high school students for college and future career paths.

Your continued support of the Legacy Project solidifies the future of all MCW students

Construction Update!!

We broke ground on our five new teaching spaces in November, and construction is on target for completion in Spring 2022! Framing is up for the recording studio.

You can support the development of these new facilities and help us match our $500,000 grant award from New York State’s Regional Economic Development Council (REDC).
