Healing Our Heroes Logo

The “Healing Our Heroes” program is designed for military veterans in the Tri-state area (NY, CT, NJ) who have returned home with psychological and physical injuries sustained while on active duty.

We offer music therapy and music instruction to restore and support the physical, emotional, psychological, and neurological functioning of our veteran participants. Our aim is to improve quality of life and teach skills for resilience and coping with ongoing stresses.

We work with local Veterans centers and VA hospitals to continuously identify veterans who meet the criteria for referral to this program.

Special thanks to Joel Breitkopf, board member and founding sponsor, who provided initial support for this program through The Breitkopf Family Veterans Scholarship Fund.
