MCW The Studio2026-04-16T13:09:28-04:00

WELCOME TO MCW STUDIOS!

Our recording studio was professionally and uniquely designed in 2022, tucked inside the Music Conservatory of Westchester. The main recording room is a 27’ x 24’ acoustically treated space featuring our vintage Steinway B piano, “the perfect piano,” a 6’11” grand from the early 20th century and rebuilt in the 1980s. MCW’s Recital Hall is our second recording space, a 118-seat small concert hall ideal for acoustic and chamber music. The room has a beautiful live sound with adjustable acoustic curtains along two walls for additional absorption, and holds two concert grand pianos – a Steinway B and a 7’ Bosendorfer – on a raised stage.

Our team of engineers bring a wealth of experience in various recording specialties including recording classical music, film and television dialogue, multi-piece bands, and singer-songwriter oriented projects.

As an educational institution we specialize in student-led projects such as instrument and vocal audition videos, college supplement recordings, animation and film audio, podcasts, and sound-design portfolios, helping young musicians and creators stand out in competitive college and competition atmospheres.
