Music Therapy Institute
Outreach ProgramsMusic is instrumental in bringing people together. Our outreach program seeks to connect participants with their peers, environment, and the community at large.
The Institute’s outreach program provides group and individual music therapy programs for children and adults in special education settings, public schools, hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers, community mental health facilities, residential treatment facilities, rehabilitation centers, and social service programs.
The Institute’s outreach director works closely with each collaborating partner to create a custom-designed program to meet the unique needs of each participant. Consultation and Professional Development are provided to music educators assisting them in developing curriculum for self-contained and inclusion classes.
