They recently completed their Doctorates of Musical Arts. Melanie teaches violin at MCW and, Lotte is Development Associate, and teaches voice at MCW.

Will be presenting at the 18th World Congress of Music Therapy Conference in Bologna, Italy this July. Her presentation topic is “First Steps in Exploring Reflexivity and Liminality in Music Therapy Practice Within the Pediatric Hospital Setting.”

Performances Outside of MCW
Elliot Lutz
Elliot was the youngest pianist recently selected to perform for the Gifted Young People’s Recital sponsored by the Leschetizky Association. The event was held March 8th at the Tenri Cultural Center.

Doyle was accepted to The Bronx High School of Science. He studied for a three-hour admissions test, and the hard work paid off!

Shasha Liu
Shasha got honorable mention at the junior division of Young Pianists Competition hosted by New York State Music Teachers Association. She will play in the award recital at 5:30 pm on June 6, Saturday at Faust Harrison Piano .
