They recently completed their Doctorates of Musical Arts. Melanie teaches violin at MCW and, Lotte is Development Associate, and teaches voice at MCW.

Elliot Lutz
Elliot was the youngest pianist recently selected to perform for the Gifted Young People’s Recital sponsored by the Leschetizky Association. The event was held March 8th at the Tenri Cultural Center.

High School Acceptances

Doyle was accepted to The Bronx High School of Science. He studied for a three-hour admissions test, and the hard work paid off!

Shasha Liu
Shasha got honorable mention at the junior division of Young Pianists Competition hosted by New York State Music Teachers Association. She will play in the award recital at 5:30 pm on June 6, Saturday at Faust Harrison Piano .

Miles Ingram
Miles Ingram, clarinet student of Jared Hoffman and 2026 graduate of the MCW Honors Program, will be attending Haverford College in the fall. Haverford is known for its academic rigor, Honor Code, and beautiful arboretum campus
