French horn faculty member Adam Schommer gave the world premiere performance of Dr. Adolphus Hailstork’s new Horn Concerto with the Chelsea Symphony at the DiMenna Center in New York City.

Music therapist Emily Ouellette will make a presentation at the 18th World Congress of MTI Conference in Bologna, Italy this July. Her topic is “First Steps in Exploring Reflexivity and Liminality in Music Therapy Practice Within the Pediatric Hospital Setting.”

Elliot Lutz, student of Renee Guerrero, was the youngest pianist selected to perform in the Gifted Young People’s Recital sponsored by the Leschetizky Association on March 8th at the Tenri Cultural Center in New York City.

Shasha got honorable mention at the junior division of Young Pianists Competition hosted by New York State Music Teachers Association. She will play in the award recital at 5:30 pm on June 6, Saturday at Faust Harrison Piano .
