Nancy Wolfe earned her B.M. degree in Piano at Susquehanna University where she studied with Galen Deibler. She graduated from Temple University with a M.M. in Chamber Music/Accompanying and Piano Pedagogy, studying with Lambert Orkis and Maryan Filar. Other notable teachers include Durema Kohl, Marjorie Jones, Susan Starr, and Charles Abramovic.

Nancy has performed as a soloist or collaborative pianist in the United States, England, and China, including the Philadelphia Art Song Series, Trinity Church Noontime Concerts, NYPL Donnell Library Recital Series, venues in Guilin and Nanning, China, and as concerto soloist with the West Jersey Chamber Music Society. She has worked with The Pennsylvania Opera Theater (Assistant Conductor) and the School of the Pennsylvania Ballet. As a Broadway pit musician, Nancy has worked with dozens of shows in New York City and on the road, including the 1994 Broadway revival of Damn Yankees starring Bebe Neuwirth and Victor Garber, Hal Prince’s Tony Award winning production of Show Boat (Assistant Conductor, U.S. National Tour), Sister Act, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Disney’s Aladdin (Lead Keyboard, First North American Tour). She traveled throughout the U.K., Germany, France, and the Netherlands with West Side Story (Conductor, Pianist). Regionally, she has worked at San Diego’s Old Globe Theatre, Paper Mill Playhouse, Ogunquit Playhouse, and the Gateway Playhouse. Additional credits include Radio City Christmas Spectacular and Broadway Under the Stars in Central Park and Bryant Park.

A holistic educator and music mentor at heart, I am committed to fostering accountability, cooperation, joy, and creativity through music. My teaching approach focuses on building a healthy piano technique while emphasizing musical literacy and artistry. I strive to meet students where they are, considering their musical interests and goals while developing essential foundational skills which apply to any musical genre. I have held teaching positions at Temple University, The Baldwin School, The Spence School, AHRC NYC, and Bronx House.
