Summer Music & Arts (Grades K-6)

Music & Arts offers children a fun and comprehensive artistic and musical experience with a variety of classes to spur children’s interest in learning and playing music.

Students (Grades K-3):

Morning Classes:

Chorus, choose an instrument (piano, violin, recorder, guitar), art, and music skills.

Afternoon Classes:

Hello, Musicals!, Creative Movement, Rhythm Rockers.

Students (Grades 4-6):

Summer programs

Morning Classes:

Chorus, choose an instrument (piano, violin, guitar, drumming, singing), art, and songwriting.

Afternoon Classes: Choose your Track! 

Instrumentalists: Discovery Jam, Band Jam & Rock the Stage.

OR

Singing: Broadway Adventures, Choreography & Acting.

Musical Theatre Immersion (Grades 3-7)

Be a musical theatre superstar singing solo and group pieces, developing choreography, and helping to build the sets and props. One performance is scheduled for the final day.

Suzuki Summer Program (Grades K-8)

A fun and intensive workshop for kids with prior musical experience on violin, viola, cello, or piano with our Suzuki faculty. Includes semi-private & group lessons, chamber music, rhythm and note reading, movement, and listening.

Suzuki Beginner Special: Ages 4+

Try out Suzuki lessons for a week! Offered to young beginners on violin or cello or piano. Includes a semi-private lesson & group class.

Collegiate Orchestra Institute

Over a 4-week period starting on July 21, 2020, the Collegiate Orchestra Institute will offer rehearsals, sectionals, and master classes with virtuoso string players, giving students the opportunity to advance their skills and form collegial relationships with other developing professionals. A culminating performance will take place on August 12, 2020.
