Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is rooted in kindness, compassion, and self-awareness. I believe that fostering a supportive learning environment is essential for musical growth. I aim to empower my students with tools and resources for every aspect of flute performance so that over time, they are able to identify and address their own playing challenges independently. I see myself not just as an instructor but as a guide, assisting students in developing the self-awareness necessary to become their own teachers. My ultimate goal is to instill a sense of curiosity and self-discovery in every student, enabling them to navigate their musical journey with confidence and resilience, cultivating a lifelong love for music and learning in the process.
